You're tempted to adopt the locals' costume or some other kind of custom on Monday and Tuesday. Not only is it flattering and comfortable, but it oddly coincides with your idea of the ideal outfit. Just make sure you do in a respectful fashion or you could look presumptuous on Thursday. Friday, you need to get something done right away, but the sense of time in this place might be very different from what you're used to. Just go with it for now. Over the weekend, you find that with a little effort, you adapt to and quite enjoy a slower pace of life.
